Mitchell
County Hospital District Employees enjoy their positions at the
Hospital but it does not stop there. Hospital Employees have worked
very hard for many years raising money and walking for Relay For
Life. As with most medical professionals, most employees come
into contact and care for Cancer Patients in our area in some form
or fashion. Many employees have also experienced the affect of
having an ill cancer patient in their family and dealing with the
loss or sometimes the joy of combating the dreaded disease first
hand. Therefore, it is no wonder when time comes around for local
citizens to band together in the fight against cancer and raise
money for patients and research, Mitchell County Hospital District
employees are right there to do their part.
The team walked in 2011 after
raising several thousand dollars and they are already looking
forward to 2012 to help in the fight against cancer.
